Recital tickets go on sale Tuesday, April 21st. at noon. Tickets are sold through the Civic Arts Plaza Box Office and Ticketmaster. Box Office Hours: 12:00-5:00pm

REHEARSALS:

Please, make sure that you know in what exactly COSTUME YOUR child is starting rehearsal. It’s very important that your child will come for rehearsal in CORRECT costume.

Formal Photos Formal photographs of your child, in costume, are optional, but most students choose to participate. The photographer will be at the studio June 5, 6 and 7th to take class photosand individual portraits. A class schedule is posted as well in the studio.

Dress Rehearsals Dress rehearsals are absolutely mandatory. It is essential that dancers get a sense for the stage and an opportunity to practice on the theater stage. All rehearsals are at the theater, not at the school.There are two dress rehearsals , June 10th and June 17th at 3:00 PM. Your child will only be rehearsing on one of those days. Please check the schedule for the dates of the rehearsals:

We know that not all times are convenient for everyone, but the theater management only gives us a limited number of hours to rehearse and we must make every second count. We will start on time, regardless if all dancers are present or not. Please allow at least 2 hours for rehearsal, if your child is dancing in one number, allow more time if more numbers. Please be there at your designated time, promptly, if not earlier. You will be informed of your scheduled time in April. We ask that you please arrange your schedule accordingly, carpool if necessary and be there on time.

This is a dress rehearsal. Your child must come dressed in costume with recital hair and makeup complete . The rehearsal will be videotaped for use in our DVD.

Hair and makeup The teachers will hand out a sheet detailing how the dancers should wear their hair and makeup for the recital. If you lose your instruction sheet, please call the school or stop by the front desk as we keep a copy for each class.

Candid Recital Photographs For the safety of the performers on stage, the City of Thousand Oaks prohibits the taking of flash photography during the recital. As a service to our families, there will be a professional photographer taking photos without flash. You may view the photos the week after the recital, at the studio or by appointment.

Recital Video and DVD DVDs and Videos of the recital will be available for purchase. Order forms will be available at the front desk the first week of May. Please allow 8-10 weeks for delivery.

Floral Bouquets Avoid the hassle of last minute arrangements. As a convenience to you, you may pre-order a floral bouquet for your “little dancer”. The flowers will be available for pick up the day of the recital in the theater lobby. Photos of the bouquets and order forms will be available at the front desk the first week of May.
